Gary Wolken is the Grant Specialist at CJM. He started his journey at the organization as a housing assistant in 2016, helping with the physical set-up of apartments for clients. He became the Housing Coordinator in 2018 and transitioned to Grants Specialist in 2021. As a Grants Specialist Gary focuses on grant  reporting and compliance. Gary possesses a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Theology. 

 

When Gary was asked about why he works for CJM, he explained that as a former client of the program, this is a way of giving back to the community and the organization that helped him through his difficult experience. “Helping people is a part of who I am," he said.
